General Rules
*NGPT – National Guild of Piano Teachers.
**FAM – Fontaine Academy of Music.
- Points may be earned for subjects (as defined) only.
- Consecutive enrollment points are not cumulative and are reset as of Aug 31st of every year.
- Points begin accumulating as of March 1st 2008.
- Students will be eligible to earn separate and concurrent points for each activity successfully completed.
- Students whose Absent Time equals more than two consecutive months will lose all of their accumulated points (per subject); students whose Absent Time is two months or less will be able to retain any previous points accumulated. Points will be retained for completed Subjects or if a multi-subject student discontinues one subject but remains enrolled in another.
- A general rule may be superseded by a more specific rule stated below. Should a general rule be in conflict with a specific rule, the specific rule will supersede the general.
- Points earned are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash value.
- Points cannot be borrowed or loaned to attain higher-level prizes.
- Eligibility to participate is limited to students of Fontaine Academy of Music.
Selecting Prizes for Points Earned.
The Bee-Sharp Club has six prize levels. FAM retains the exclusive right to determine the appropriate prizes at each level or change the points needed to attain a particular level without any advance notice. FAM also retains the exclusive right to determine the suppliers of such prizes.
The prize levels and the points needed to attain those levels are currently as follows:

- FAM will verify a student’s point value before shipping the prize.
- All orders for prizes must be submitted by the Students or their Parents to the front desk by the final day of every month. Prizes will be given at the student’s lesson. The student’s phone number must be included in case of any discrepancies with the order. Fontaine Academy of Music will use reasonable efforts to process and deliver prizes in an expeditious manner.
DISCLAIMER
- FAM retains the exclusive right to suspend, modify, or cancel any prizes awarded without prior notification. In the case of cancellation or suspension of prize awards, FAM will have no obligation to honor points earned but not yet used.
- FAM retains the exclusive right to permanently disqualify students who have intentionally violated any of the rules listed above.
- With respect to any of the prizes that are claimed, FAM makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. FAM shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with any use, or inability to use, any prizes that are claimed.
